still learning how to learn

As a follow up to the Coursera course “Learning How to Learn” that I took earlier in the year, I receive occasional emails from the instructor. Today, the email included links to courses related to staying physically activity, and I was reminded of the important role of physical activity in solidifying learning.

The instructor, Barbara Oakley, recommended a 3-week Coursera course out of the University of Edinburgh called “Sit Less, Get Active“, which begins May 1. Since one of my goals from the Learning How to Learn course was to commit to exercise to become a better learner,  I’ve signed up!
